Green Berets live out of their rucks for months at a time. Prior to each deployment every Green Beret packs carefully and methodically, planning for contingencies and backups for the really important stuff. This includes items on the "packing list", and some that are not.
There has never been a packing list for this new mission for the Green Beret and their family living in a hospital. Our own "lessons learned" have taught that there should be - so we wrote the "policy". Based on the criteria set out for our wounded, ill and injured Green Berets, we deliver it to the hospital.
In generous cooperation with our partner, GORUCK, we provide all of the essentials a Green Beret would want in a lifetime guaranteed GORUCK case. These rucks are something any Green Beret would want, and the contents are always well received.
This "welcoming gift" provides the Green Beret with much needed and valuable items, and establishes caring and communication from other Green Berets who have "been there". We follow up again after several days and continue building the relationship and tracking the Green Beret and their family starting with boots on the ground after being medevac’d out of theater.
