Pioneer Natural Resources is a company that supports our nation’s military in many ways -- by supporting our Reservists and National Guard employees when called to active duty, by initiating an aggressive hiring campaign of veterans and by supporting organizations such as the Green Beret Foundation and its efforts.
Our Special Forces soldiers are in harm’s way every day, whether in Afghanistan, Iraq or some other region. Those that have been wounded or need assistance deserve our support and we are honored to give it.
The Green Beret Foundation has not only done immense work to get together a fund in my husband’s honor to help pay for supplements, meds, and other medical requirements not paid by insurance. But furthermore this great team of the GBF has shown tremendous support, taken active part in important life events whether it be a celebration or a need. Most of all, their mission to make sure no one is left behind, including families of soldiers, just shows one thing: the brother-and sisterhood in our community never goes away, even after injury or illness. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much your support has meant to me personally and to the group of ladies who are now called the Steel Magnolias.
I found hope for our group to grow and continue to help each new spouse through their families life changing journey after injury because of the GBF’s support through business consulting, mentoring and advocacy.
