Legacy Giving

Since the commencement of hostilities in the Global War on Terror, many hundreds of Green Berets have been wounded, seriously injured become ill or killed as a direct result of this war. Due to the global position of the enemy and their constantly re-stated goals of killing Americans within and without the United States, it is unfortunate but essential to consider that a meaningful reduction in casualties does not appear on the horizon for our Green Berets.

With that said, you can leave a legacy gift supporting wounded, ill or KIA Green Berets and their families. Planned Giving is an excellent way to provide an enduring gift that is conducive to your financial and tax planning. Planned Giving now can help ensure the best care for our Green Berets and their families for generations to come. Please contact us at info@greenberetfoundation.org for a confidential discussion.

Disclaimer:

Although we may take donations in the name of a Green Beret family, a Green Beret or specific program, there only two instances where the GBF disperses cash to recipients;  1) the initial C3 (needs to link back to the Casualty Care page) (Casualty Care Cost) check for traumatically wounded Green Berets or if the Board approves a particular situation. All requests must fall under the GBF’s mission and be accompanied by receipts/invoices from the supplier of the goods and/or services. All requests require approval from Executive Management and if over a certain dollar figure require a Board vote.
Funds are dispersed under the GBF’s mission regardless of fund restrictions. Unused funds will be held at the GBF to be used for the next Green Beret and his family or returned to donors if prior agreement has been made.
